The high-performance mould release agent
Product Description:![]()
WABICON HP (water based) is a high-performance mould release agent for the production of non-porous, dust-free, immaculate concrete surface, especially for smooth, fair-faces architectural concrete. After drying a fine film is formed, which prevents the concrete sticking to the mould and allows the production of perfectly smooth concrete-surfaces. This is an important further development to the numerous so called mould-oils, which often leave inadequate concrete surfaces with clouds and other potential reasons of complaints. WABICON HP is suitable for all kinds of steel-, wood-, fibreglass, epoxy-coated and plastic moulds, for horizontal and for vertical applications, for precast or cast-in-place concrete applications surfaces. WABICON HP give best results while performing best with a high coverage rate of up to 100 sqm per litre.
Fields of Application:
WABICON HP is suitable for all types of steel-, wood- and plastic moulds, especially for horizontal or vertical and rectangular moulds in precast- or on-site-applications or for heated moulds. WABICON HP can be used everywhere where it is important to produce an immaculate concrete surface, for example architecturral concrete. WABICON HP do not reduce the adhesion of plaster, paint, wall-paper etc.
Advantages in Application:
Due to the combination of chemically and physically active ingredients, non-porous, smooth and uniform concrete surfaces can be produced with WABICON HP. The rust-inhibitors prevent the rusting of steel moulds and extend their durability. The usage of WABICON HP reduces the time needed to clean the moulds to a minimum. WABICON HP is water-based and free of solvents. As only a very low consumption is required in application, WABICON HP are easy to use and very cost-efficient per m². Application Instructions:
WABICON HP should be applied to the moulds with the HEBAU-airless-spray-gun with an appropriate tip/nozzle (approx. 0,3 mm) in a thin and even coating. All parts of the mould which are hard to reach should be extra carefully sprayed. The concrete can be poured/casted into the mould immediately after the product has dried. It is advisable to clean the moulds and respray them immediately after demoulding/stripping, which helps to keep the moulds in best shape and to prevent the formation of rust or corrosion. Overspray material should be removed from the mould. The general rule “The lower the consumption the better the concrete surface“ should be considered during application.
